Join the fun of traveling the first railroad route into Duluth, a 6 mile historic train journey following the beautiful St. Louis River Corridor in West Duluth. The one hour, forty minute ride is filled with history, wildlife and incredible scenery. This ride is the closest view of the river without getting wet! Check out the two vintage 100 year old passenger coaches and the 1946 switch engine. Step outside to the outdoor Safari Car and experience nature at its best! Wander through the cars freely.

See views of Duluth that only can be seen by the train with unobstructed views of the lush forest and panoramic views overlooking Wisconsin. See islands that can only be seen by rail road or water. Enjoy watching the yellow switch engine as it uncouples from the west-bound train and circles over to the opposite end to couple back up to the train to head east to the Ticket Office. Take an engine tour before the ride, meet the crew – Conductor, Engineer, Fireman, Narrator, and Car Host- and take lots of photos along the way.
